Welcome to Maddox Intermediate School. My name is Marc Sargent and it is with great pride that I greet you as the principal of MIS. I consider it a privilege to be a part of such a hardworking, knowledgeable, and supportive school community. Together we strive to provide a positive and safe learning environment for all students.
Maddox Intermediate is a school of approximately 625 students and a teaching and support staff of over 65 people. We are proud of our school and community. It is our commitment at Maddox Intermediate to provide a safe, caring, positive, and learning environment. I believe that every student can and will succeed if provided the right supports and opportunities to be challenged. I see it as my responsibility as the principal to oversee this process, guiding the staff and allocating the resources and supports to make it happen. It is my top priority to ensure that everyone who enters the doors of Maddox feels like part of the MIS family.
We are very fortunate to have an incredible group of teachers and staff who work collaboratively to ensure we meet the needs of all our students. Together they are a team of caring individuals who everyday strive for our children to be good students and citizens.
